FLEA MARKET DAY TRIP TO DOWN TOWN OTTAWA, CHANGING OF THE GUARDS & RIDEAU CANAL SYSTEM

Earl, Eric, Simcha and myself drove down to Canada's Capital, Ottawa on one of the hottest days of the year to the Parliament Buildings to watch the Changing of the Guards. We then strolled around the back of Parliament to view the Provence of Quebec. We then walked over to The Chateau Laurier to visit the locks (Rideau Canal System) where the Ottawa River meets up with the Rideau River. We walked over to The War Memorial on Elgin Street to see The Unknown Soldiers Tomb. We then headed over to Hogs Back Loclstation to check out the 2nd batch of locks for boats that were headed up stream to wind there way through the Rideau Lock System. Out last two pics are of the new swing bridge in Smiths Falls and Lock Master John Harrison. There is close to 50 pics in this massive large gallery, enjoy viewing them
