VINTAGE CONCERT FLYERS AND HAND BILLS
My friends, this is a major undertaking,.... but I want to share some of my favorite metal moments with you,.....all the concerts I've being too. All the below links will take you to my extensive collection of concert flyers, concert hand bills, newspaper advertisements for metal & hard rock concerts, previews of concerts, reviews of concerts, ticket stubs, autographs, backstage passes, band interviews, album reviews + much much more from my metal scrap books. This starts out with my first concert,
My father took me to The Ottawa Ex to see The Cars Tour in Aug. 1979. They were touring their Candy-O album.
All the metal shows listed extend from Montreal Quebec, through to Ottawa Ontario , back down to Kingston Ontario, right down through Toronto and the GTA,.... winding down to London Ontario,... and as far as Detroit Michigan..... with some in US centers. I would say about 90% are in Ontario,...... and out of all of the shows listed below, I can say about 97% were seen by me and my fellow brothers of metal.
I have hundreds of flyers and this will be an ongoing part time job, sorting, scanning, cropping, posting, saving, uploading. I will be doing a few each night, once complied, there should be over 400 metal concert advertisements. So please enjoy and check back often.
